The Fantasticks!

A few days ago we got the chance to go to a local theatre, where a group called "Florence International Theatre Company" was putting on a production of The Fantasticks! in English. The man who runs the dance school we learned the period dances for our ball on the Island of Elba is friends with the director and the music director, which is how we found out about it.

The musical was very fun to see, and personally speaking it was nice because I've never seen the show before! This was the first musical that the FITC has done, hopefully they'll be able to do more in the future. Certainly something to keep in mind for anyone thinking about coming to Florence, right?
